Support Us at Unity Lutheran Christian Elementary School
Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. (1 Peter 5:2-3)
The support that you give to Unity Lutheran School permits us to continue our ministry of bringing God’s Word to the communities of East St. Louis and Washington Park. We are in our fifteenth year of this mission. Unity serves approximately 125 families – brothers and sisters under our care; entrusted to us. As we look forward, we are exploring ways that we can extend our reach into the community. We thank you for your support. You bless us.
How can you help?
Belong To Jesus Scholarship Fund: Between 80% to 85% of the donations Unity received goes toward funding the tuition for our students. This fund is spread evenly across all students and our entire student body benefits evenly from these funds.
Donations can be made to the Belong To Jesus Scholarship Fund by credit card or electronic check. Please contact Development Director Dr. Bruce McLaughlin at email@example.com if you have any questions about donations.
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35)
Golden Eagle Endowment Fund: Our endowment fund currently has $600,000. Our goal is to reach the $1 million-dollar mark. With your help we can do it!
Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisors they succeed. (Proverbs 15:22)
Estate Planning: A Christian preamble in your Will or Living Trust can be a source of comfort to a mourning family, a powerful message of love and encouragement, and a public record of Christian faith. If your prayerful consideration is to leave a gift that continues to support the Unity ministry after you are gone, please let us know. We work closely with the LCMS Foundation to answer any questions you have.
